How it works

Install & Run Parachute

Install Parachute and run it. You'll be prompted to log into your Basecamp® account and locate your HTML export (optional).

Select the projects you want to backup

Parachute downloads all your files and, if you want, updates the HTML to include a new “files” tab. It also inserts links to all of your files in the messages and comments.

Grab your backup

You now have a complete local backup of your Basecamp® projects that can be archived or handed to clients.
